About Us
MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER
Jesus established His church while He was on Earth. His church was the body of believers who accepted the salvation He offered. He bled for them, He suffered for them and ultimately He died for them. These first Christians became the Church we read of in the New Testament of God's word. Jesus also died for all of us living after that, and He wants us to be in His church too. When we today follow the inspired word of God and live and worship like the faithful Christians in Jesus' church, we can be assured of being today, just what they were then. When we do what they did, we will be what they were; just Christians. We wear no manmade names, we follow no manmade doctrines. Jesus Christ is the Head of the church and we are His body of believers. We believe the Bible to be the complete, inspired word of God. We need nothing more, we demand nothing less and we follow nothing else but the word of God.
REACHING UP
We strive to live our lives in accordance with God's will as recorded in scripture. Obedience to God is how one submits to His authority and glorifies Him before the world. Obedience is a necessary element of the faithful Christian life.
Grace is God reaching down to man with hope. Faith is man reaching up to God in Hope.
REACHING IN
The Christian life is one of growth in the Lord. The Bible is the inspired word of God, recorded and preserved for us with the instructions we need to life our lives acceptably before God. We demand nothing less, we accept nothing more and we reject anything other than God's word.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
